Amara Leaders. Advancing the exceptional leadership of Black women across industries.
The Bese Saka/Sack of Cola Nuts is a symbol of affluence, power, abundance, togetherness, and unity, and that’s why it’s our logo. In the Nigerian/Igbo language, Amara stands for urgent business, elegance, and grace - a mantra we strive for in our organization.
Investing in the leadership of Black women further propels the Black community and decreases health and wealth inequality.
Amara Leaders is a space of unification, a spirit of plenty, and a place of empowerment that has room to grow - like the affluence that comes from Black women on the rise.
Collaboration. Innovation. Self-Actualization.
By preparing the road ahead through education and consultation, and walking alongside in community, we navigate the journey, as Black women leaders, we plan and pursue our vision.
